I am a self-taught artist who began sculpting in the early '90's. After acquiring a couple degrees in university and having a very "unartistic" career, I married and had three children. One Christmas, I got a real hankering for one of those really nice one-of-a-kind old world Santas but they were way out of my price range... I decided to make my own! My clay career was born.

Over the years I progressed from making 15" Santas and elves with my own handmade clay - Boy Scout Recipe - to the OOAK polymer clay world. My present creations are six to eight inch dolls and six to fourteen inch dragons, all of them one-of-a-kind and very special to me. I have also delved into the world of egg decorating to enhance the realm of my dragons.

My work is mostly inspired by the wonderful world of fantasy art. There are so many talented and spectacular artists out there- I hope to do them justice in reinterpreting their art into a three-dimensional form. Thanks to all of them for their inspiration!

I am always experimenting with new techniques and new mediums while retaining a love for using vintage and antique laces, fabrics, and objets d'art in my work.

I hope I bring a smile to your face when you look at my creations- my own special world of fantasy. If I can do that, then I can really say "I'm an artist"!
